Acer’s New 3D Display

Acer Introduced their new High Definition Display all ready for 3D gaming when combined with Nvidia 3D vision active-shutter Glasses.

The 23.6 inch display has 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1920 x 1080 resolution.The  GD235HZ has 2ms response time and 120Hz refresh rate.The Contrast ratio of 800000:1 makes it very ideal to view clear and detailed graphics.

This NVIDIA 3D Vision kit is sold separately for $199, and requires a compatible NVIDIA card.

Available later this month, the Acer GD235HZ will cost $399.

Created by US-based SchultzeWORKS, the Philco PC goes for curves and a type-writter style keyboard. Despite it’s old-school exterior, this PC’s runs on the latest Windows 7 operating system. There’s no news on price and availability.

The SchultzeWORKS designstudio has created a wide variety of consumer electronics and housewares for clients such as Microsoft, LG, and Target, but the Philco PC design received more attention than usual.
